BRIGHT DOE WAS JUST 14 YEARS OLD WHEN HE STUMBLED UPON AGAPE GOSPEL MISSION’S TV MINISTRY.
Then in July 2002, Bright took a decisive step and dedicated his life to Christ at an Agape Gospel Mission evangelism event in his community of Adenta. He was baptized and joined our Agape Church. From there, God led him to volunteer at Agape Children’s Home, where the care for orphans ignited his passion for service. In April 2004, Bright joyfully joined our staff. He’s been pivotal in rescuing orphans, advocating for their needs,
and encouraging others to support their care.
Fast forward 20 years, and Bright is now a cornerstone of Agape Gospel Mission! Bright’s devotion to God has grown through his service.
He’s also been key in our church planting across Africa, spreading the gospel and fostering communities of faith. Bright’s contributions to our ministry are immense.
God has worked through him to advance our mission, save souls, build churches, and rescue orphans. We’re thankful to God for bringing Bright into His kingdom through Agape and for using him to draw others to Christ.
Bright is just one amazing example of the steady impact Agape Gospel Mission has made over the past 41 years in West
Africa. That impact continues today through our work to rescue and care for children-at-risk, our church planting efforts, and our evangelism outreaches. With God’s help and your partnership, we’re pressing on to REACH the lost, RESCUE children-at-risk, and RAISE new leaders for the Church in Africa.
Charles and Joseph, from Oyibi, had been absent from church for an extended period due to challenges they faced. “Your message today has revitalized our hope. We were unaware of Jesus’ concern for us, so there is really someone up there who cares about us.” They received our message and gave their lives to Christ and have joined the church. “May those who sent you here be richly blessed by God!” |
This month, we invite you to join us in reaching more young men and women in Ghana like Bright Doe! Through the work of our National Evangelism Team (NET), we’re reaching out to young people like Bright and sharing Christ’s love.
Just last month, we cast our NET into Suhum, a major city in Ghana’s Eastern Region. Our team of full-time evangelists were able to win many to Christ and help establish them in our Agape Church at Suhum. One very exciting example of this was the ministry of our NET at the Islamic Girls Senior High School (pictured below). Our team was given the opportunity to preach the Gospel – and 25 young ladies gave their lives to Christ!
I invite you to join us in winning souls to Jesus and transforming lives by partnering with the Agape NET and supporting our full-time Evangelists as they minister throughout Ghana. Our total budget for the next quarter of outreach is $15,000. This budget covers the cost of printing Gospel literature, transportation and housing for our National Evangelism Team, and the costs of holding evangelism events like the one that helped Bright Doe find salvation in Christ.
Together, we can impact this generation for Christ! Your generous donations will empower our ministry’s presence in the towns and villages of Ghana, providing remarkable opportunities to share the Gospel. Please donate today using the “Give Towards Evangelism” button.
God bless you!
Yours for the Cause that Counts,
